Greg and Kathleen Parsons have been on the staff of Frontier Ventures (formerly the U.S. Center for World Mission) since 1982. Greg was raised in Silicon Valley. Kathleen grew up in Dallas. They met when Greg was attending Dallas Seminary. They were married in 1981 and joined staff after graduation in 1982. Their children were raised in Pasadena. They now have three grandchildren and will gladly show you photos!
Kathleen first served as an Administrative Assistant to Dr. Winter, then processing Global Prayer Digest subscriptions. She has also served with several departments in the financial area and now works with electronic donations for Frontier Ventures.
After serving in Frontier Media department, Greg became the Executive Director from 1990-2010. He now serves as Global Connection Specialist and takes great joy in learning from, sharing with, and connecting with missions and church leaders globally.
Greg earned a PhD at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in 2012, on Ralph Winter’s life. Greg serves on the board of both Frontier Ventures and William Carey International University. He is also Curator for the Ralph D. Winter Research Center and Archives and posts regularly at the Research Center website: www.rdwrc.wciu.edu.
He also writes a regular column in Mission Frontiers magazine (www.missionfrontiers.org) and has published books, articles, and presentations related to the frontier mission movement. Greg serves on several external boards including: Christar US, and Via (formerly the Center for Mission Mobilization). He chairs the Christar International Board as well.
