Zero is the goal--zero unreached peoples--because the gospel is for every people.
Our vision and prayer is that we will see the Great Commission fulfilled in our generation.
Our goal is Zero.
ZERO languages without the Scriptures
ZERO people groups without Disciple Makers
ZERO people who have not heard the Gospel
ZERO oral learners without an oral Bible
ZERO villages or neighborhoods without a church
We are counting for zero. That the Gospel will go to every unreached people group. That people from every nation, tribe and tongue will hear and believe. That there will be zero people groups left who remain unreached.
Just like the men and women of Issachar in Scripture over 3,000 years ago gave leadership and direction to God's people, we pray that we will be those who "understand the times" and know "what we should do."
Let us not grow weary in doing good, knowing that we will reap a harvest and we will reap Life as we sow in the Spirit (Galatians 6:7-9). And that God Himself will be faithful to complete the work He has begun (Philippians 1:6). We can rest assured that He Who calls us faithful and will also accomplish it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
So this beckoning to make your life count for zero, it is not a burden and a task to weigh you down. Living on mission today is the very lifeblood of walking with Jesus. It is the Gospel incarnate.
For this to happen, as Jonathan Pon so aptly stated in the introduction to this series, God must be "loved and magnified in every heart and every people on earth."
For this to happen, we must make our lives count for zero by strategically working together in unity across borders. Living on mission to take the Gospel to every unreached people group remaining today.
How will you make your life count for zero?
