Dear friends and supporters of Frontier Ventures,
We at Frontier Ventures, together with WCIU, are moving forward with continued passion and vision for the Unreached. We are pursuing a future of increased focus and collaboration around the kind of complex problems in mission that got us started 40 years ago: how to turn the church's attention to the pressing needs and pioneering contexts of the "least of these" and how to address barriers to the Gospel that are bigger than any one organization, campus or even the western missions movement.
We've seen incredible growth of the Perspectives study course both here in the United States and abroad in many countries—where believers from all walks of life are coming alive to God's purposes among the nations. For so many people, the journey starts there. Some go to the unreached themselves. Others find a role in intercession, in sending, in supporting, and in other creative ways of fueling a sustained effort to see the unreached reached.
Beyond that, we are interested not only in seeing more people go and send and give, but helping them do so more effectively, based on greater insight. We're not concerned with simply seeing more harvesters; we want to see them thriving and experiencing multiplying movements of the Gospel among the toughest places on earth. That means the learning is never over, new challenges and risks must be faced, and collaboration will never go out of style! The best insights come out of a learner's heart, in collaboration with others and the King, in pursuit of a glorious vision. Much of our work has been and continues to be seeing those Kingdom insights sown back into the work of the harvest, unto greater fruitfulness—and ultimately unto the body of Christ partnering with God in fulfillment of the Great Commission.
Frontier Ventures' purpose for a possible sale of a portion of FV's property is to make the best and most effective use possible of our resources for the vision God has given us. The purpose of our organization is and always has been to see Jesus proclaimed and the Church established in all peoples. The vision was never just for the use of property in Pasadena. All that was invested into the property, the people, and the purpose will continue to be directed toward ministry among the unreached. It's what we stood for then, and it's what we'll continue to stand for, God willing, for the next 40 years.
We are not leaving Pasadena. And if we decrease the size of our investment in this location, we will grow our presence in other locations in the United States and select locations in Africa, Asia and other strategic locations. The Pasadena community will continue with a focus on training and collaboration with other Christian Organizations. We'll share more as we're able.
Thank you for your faith and generous support of our people and ministry. We ask for your continued prayers as we navigate this time of transition and prepare for the challenges ahead.
